For campaign submissions above 10,000 contacts, it is strongly suggested to follow the directions below in order to achieve better performance of the platform and Whatsapp account management:
- campaigns should be suddivided into sends of no more than 10,000 contacts at a time;
- each campaign of 10,000 contacts takes about 20 minutes machine time to send; therefore, we suggest creating multiple campaigns (with a maximum of 10,000 contacts per list) to be sent 40 minutes apart. In this way, the platform is able to handle sending and receiving messages, while also giving time to handle incoming messages.
- Whatsapp, for such important sends from the same account tends to pause the sent template. A paused template cannot be sent for several hours. For this reason to ensure maximum efficiency, in our suggestion is to create multiple automations and put a different template in each automation (this means that each automation will have a different template ID – where you change even one word). I remind you that it is not possible to ask for multiple templates that are identical to each other. This way each campaign will stand on its own, and if you do not receive too many reports, the submissions should proceed smoothly.
- We suggest giving the customer the option to unsubscribe through a button inserted in the template. This way the customer will click on the “UNSUBSCRIBE ME” button you created instead of reporting/blocking your Whatsapp account. To set up an automatic response to unsubscribe me with Automatic Contact Blocking click here.
- We suggest monitoring the platform during these submissions. Should a template go on pause, you will receive an email alert and you will be able to restart the campaign only for the contacts for whom the message went wrong (due to Whatsapp pausing it).
