If you use a List, and thus a campaign, as the start step of an automation, it is possible to track which contacts reply or do not take any action.
How?
Let’s consider the ‘Initial List’ in this list (which you can place in the Campaign) are the contacts to whom you want to send a communication. You are interested in tracking who responds to the message so that you do not send it to them any more, or to send them to a subsequent automation.
As in the image below, you can add the ‘Any Reply’ step which allows you to track customers who have replied with any message to yours. Warning!!! Automatic replies that your customers have set up on their WA Business also apply.
Only for customers who have replied, the automation will assign the tag ‘Has replied’ and remove that contact from the initial list to which you sent the first template.
This way the contact list will no longer contain contacts who have responded and you can use it to initiate a subsequent communication to customers who have not interacted.
In addition there is the possibility of creating lists for each automation step (e.g. who received a certain tag rather than another).
