In some cases it may be necessary to get a contact out of all the automations it is in, perhaps to get it into a specific automation next. This may be the case of a prospect who becomes a customer, or a contact who no longer wishes to receive certain specific communications.
This can be done by setting up an automation that has “Terminate Automations” as its automatic action.
Go to the Automations >> New >> Your Automated Action menu and select Terminate Automations.
The contacts passing through this automation will terminate ALL the automations they were entered into (except the one they just entered).
Once the step is selected, the automation will look like this.
Subsequent to this step you can start post-purchase nurturing, for example, or simply do not enter any other message and then the customer will enter another automation at a later time.
is possible to enter customers into this automation with a trigger (Add Automatic Step) of your choice or directly from Start Manually (top right in the white box of the automation itself), on a specific contact.
In the event that the customer requests that you never want to receive any more communications from your number, instead you can manage the customer through “Block Contact” automation. Click here for more information.
